I am currently working towards a PhD in Mathematics at the University of Manchester. If everything goes according to plan I hope to finish some time in the second half of 2005. My academic home page can be found here.
This site contains some software by my late father, Martyn Fox, including the IClear module which I am now maintaining. He also wrote two books: A Beginner's Guide to Wimp Programming and First Steps in Programming RISC OS Computers. The latter was released as a freeware DTP document in 2001, and can now be downloaded here. A second edition of A Beginner's Guide to Wimp Programming was also in preparation; Richard Hallas has kindly completed my father's work on it and the finished book can also be downloaded from this site.
I will be taking part in the Flora London Marathon in April 2005 to raise money for Cancer Research UK, who have allocated one of their guaranteed "golden bond" places to me on the understanding that I raise over £2000. All contributions would be welcome however small, so please visit my fundraising page and sponsor me online.
